A very exciting time and a very damaging time. The 20th Century changed St Pancras forever and it wasn’t just the railways that changed this area, but also the two great wars.

Like all of London, the parish of St Pancras was heavily affected by the two world wars of 1914-1918 and 1939 – 1945. In this section, we will look at the lives of some of the local men and women – whether they went to fight or stayed behind….
