The Parish of St Pancras

Welcome to the pages for research into the Parish and area of St Pancras by Mr M. Betts. The name of the area “St Pancras” is little used today, which is a shame, because it has an interesting story to tell. In fact 2011 parliamentary boundary changes will mean the end of the historic parliamentary constituency of Holborn and St Pancras. Sad days indeed.

However, although the name of the parish is disappearing, the name of St Pancras has become recently famous because of the terminus to Europe. This section of the website will discuss St Pancras past, present and future.
